Welcome to our travel blog! This year we are planning for a trip to China, Tibet and India. Hopefully, while we are there, we will keep this site updated with pictures and updates on our journey. It will literally be a trip around the world as we travel westward from California to Beijing, then on to Tibet, followed by more of China, then to India and finally back home via London.

Tibet Permit Hell - 6/1/12

Just heard that the Chinese will not allow tourist groups less than 5 to enter Tibet. And they have to be the same nationality and fly into Lhasa from the same city! Not at all paranoid, the Chinese are afraid of agitators stirring up the locals. So we are now searching for other Americans planning to go to Tibet in October. This may change the itinerary below. The tour companies are also in disarray as they try to adjust. Hopefully, Capitalism will prevail.
